Pettigoe Iron Bed

A long time favourite within our Iron and Brass bedsteads collection, The Pettigoe never fails to impress with a wonderful Victorian personality and purposeful stance.

The design has been lifted straight from our archive collection of drawings from that illustrious era and is as comfortable to the eye today as would have been the case during the last century.

The straight top rail design and heavy brass detailing with beautifully detailed metal castings, were hugely popular with the Victorians, and for the privileged few these designs would have been the bedstead of choice.

It is not difficult to picture The Pettigoe within a decadent bedroom setting in maybe a rambling country home or majestic Georgian town house harmonising perfectly with the architecture and grandeur in timeless fashion.
